Anna Sinkovská NewsThe Prague Interview (2-3 June, 2003) - Part 3What kind of work did you do there? I've done some beauty pictures for cosmetics features in magazines like Questions de Femmes and Casting... and I did the Eugene Perma show in December... a lot of different styles of clothes and hair. It was really a hair show. Eugene Perma is a hairdresser. There were pictures taken at the show, but I don't have any of them. I didn't really have a lot of jobs. I mostly made tests for my book. It was Christmas time, and there generally isn't a lot of work in Paris then.
So you'll be busier when you go back? In July, yes... but August is holidays for models. But I plan to work a lot because I missed three months for my school. And I want to learn French. That's not going to be easy for me, but I speak Russian, Czech, and English now, and for sure I will speak French one day. When I was in Paris before, I spoke only English, which wasn't really a problem, because in the modeling business there are a lot of people from America and England. But it's good to speak many languages, and I think I'm going to stay in France for a long time.
How does your family feel about all this? It's difficult to say... I'm not sure how my parents feel, but they wanted me to finish school, and I did that. Sometimes it's hard to find a job after school, and I already have one. But my mother is a bit sorry that I moved away, I travel so much, and I only see her a few times a year. |
